Cu Chi Tunnels and Pacific Links dinner - 25 August

Following their 3-1 defeat the boys got up early for a light training session and plenty of work in the pool.

Half the group then headed off to the Cu Chi Tunnels during the afternoon, closely followed by the local press.

The Cu Chi tunnels are part of a much larger network of tunnels that underlie much of the country.  The tunnels were the location of several military campaigns during the Vietnam War.

During the evening the squad met for dinner with staff from the Pacific Links Foundation.  Founded in 2001, Pacific Links is a charity set up to help improve the lives of people in need in the Pacific Rim regions.  Following on from February's 'Good Will Tour' a further $2,000 raised by the club was donated to the foundation during the evening.
